"Lorna London School of Ballet"
One of Westchester’s oldest and renowned, the Lorna London School of ballet is celebrating its’ 65th year of bringing the joy of dance to everyone.
Specializing in classical ballet, pupils range in age from 3 to 93, beginner to advanced.
We offer creative movement, ballet, point and choreography as well as Jazz classes and have an annual recital in June.
Our Students have been accepted to the NYC BALLET, Broadway Shows, Disneyworld, and leading Dance colleges.
Our teachers:

Constance Currey (daughter of Lorna London) is currently teaching classes at the Lorna London School of Ballet. She holds a BA in dance. Constance was a student of her mothers’ until attending Point Park College where she danced with the Pittsburgh Ballet theatre. Constance pioneered a dance program at Mercyhurst College, shaping the curriculum there. She performed lead roles in such ballets as Coppelia, The Nutcracker, Le Corsaire and many original works. She also taught classes for the school.

Lorna London studied at the School of American Ballet, joined Ballet Caravan, which was a forerunner of the New York City Ballet. She toured North and South America for a six month good will tour under the direction of George Balanchine and Lincoln Kirstein. She performed as a soloist in ballets such as Serenade, Concerto Barroco, Billy the Kid and Ballet Imperial. Lorna opened her school in 1945.
